Our organization “We Will NOT Lay Down 2 Cancer” and our Run, Walk or Crawl – 5K event came about the day Amy learned about Rebecca’s breast cancer diagnosis. It was March 2010, and Rebecca was 13 weeks pregnant with her first child. As Rebecca's sister Sarah cried on the phone to Amy, they both became angry and knew then that cancer didn’t discriminate. Too many people we love were battling some type of this horrible disease and it was time to do something about it.

Whether you are battling cancer now, know someone who is fighting, lost someone to cancer or you are a survivor, our hope is that this event will become your “annual event”! With your help we can make a difference and assist Dana-Farber and The Jimmy Fund in vital research to find that CURE!
